Traditional Kundali matching uses a 36-point system called Ashtakoot. It looks at eight categories: Varna, Vasya, Tara, Yoni, Graha Maitri, Gana, Bhakoot, and Nadi. Nadi alone carries 8 points — it relates to health compatibility and the fundamental nature of each person.

Name calculators don't cover all of this. They check the numerological surface: the vibrational weight of the names themselves. That's useful as a starting point. It's also genuinely incomplete.
